Annual Academy Awards

Although portrayed as a social evening, it is very much an official event.  It is also the most important Academy event of the year where all students should be attending to support the Academy and its achievements over the year.  As a martial arts student, you are part of a family who should always be there to support one another as thinking of others and being happy for others success is all part of the Tenets of Taekwon-Do.

17th Annual Academy Awards

This years event was held in March 2020 in the Summerhill Hotel, Aberdeen.  It was another fantstic event with only a few award winners not being in attendance.  Our band - Reel of Fortune had everyone dancing all night once again and we had a lot of fun with the raffle and tombolla.  Congratulations to all our award winners and thank you all for supporting this event.  We hope to see it continue for many years to come.

The Awards Night

The main part of the evening is of course the presentation of awards.  Following this, a finger buffet is served to the tables and our Ceilidh after party begins.

One of the great things about this event is being able to enjoy a night out with like minded people.  There is also a broad range of age groups allowing children to participate, and of course in many cases be the focal point of a grown up evening.

There are many awards to be presented on the night for all age groups –

NINJAS - KICKIN’ KIDS – JUNIORS –
TEENS - SENIORS and include:
