Master Wallace opened his first school in Montrose 1984 and after moving to Aberdeen in 1989, opened the Aberdeen School of Taekwon-Do.  The school developed over the years and in September 2003, moved into it's first full-time premises in Justice Mill Lane in Aberdeen.  The school became known as the Gordon Wallace Blackbelt Academy and was a full-time base for 5 years.  In this time, the school became know as the Master Wallace Blackbelt Academy after Master Wallace's promotion to 7th Degree in 2007.

In 2008, the premises was sold and we were forced to look for a new venue.  This took a year of searching and teaching classes in various sports centres until we found our new permanent full-time premises in South Esplanade West, Aberdeen.  We now have an excellent facility which we have renovated to a high standard with all the facilities you would expect from a full-time martial arts academy.
